Public Hearing Notice – ECC Amendment
Casterly Ventures Corp. (CVC) is an IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) company specializing in the secure, compliant, and sustainable management of end-of-life IT equipment, including data destruction, refurbishment, dismantling, recycling, resource recovery, and proper disposal.
CVC currently operates under ECC No. ECC-OL-NCR-2024-0113, covering a storage facility for toxic and hazardous materials/products, including Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), with a storage capacity of 2 metric tons.
CVC is proposing to amend its existing ECC to accommodate the operation of a Treatment, Storage, and Disposal (TSD) Facility with a proposed annual treatment capacity of 200 metric tons. The project is intended to address the growing volume of waste generated by the Company's operations, enhance its capacity for proper waste management, and ensure that hazardous waste is appropriately handled and managed in accordance with applicable environmental laws, regulations, and standards.
The project will provide a controlled and environmentally responsible facility for the treatment, storage, recovery, and final disposition of electronic and regulated waste, while promoting resource recovery and minimizing potential environmental impacts.
In connection with the ECC amendment process, DENR-EMB NCR will conduct a Public Hearing to provide stakeholders and the public an opportunity to participate and raise relevant concerns regarding the proposed project.
